RAP is a Czech experimental studio with its own carpentry production. For more than 35 years, it has been implementing original projects for interiors and exteriors, combining traditional craft techniques with an experimental approach to materials and design. In collaboration with artist Michaela Vrbková, it creates solitary objects and interior elements on the border between art and design. The original collection of elements that Michaela Vrbková designs for RAP has been regularly featured at DesignBlok. The work with local oak wood, which does not meet traditional furniture standards and is therefore commonly intended for burning, is characteristic for her. Fire becomes a technological process and a means of expression in the wooden elements of RAP / Michaela Vrbková.
