SIN is a unique Czech glassmaking technology based on the direct casting of three-dimensional glass objects in closed moulds. The Vitrum Vivum (Living Glass) method expands the possibilities of molten glass, enabling both monumental sculptures and intricate spatial forms. Developed since 2010 by master glassmaker Jiří Šín and further advanced with co-owner Roman Pilíšek, SIN combines exceptional technical expertise with outstanding creative freedom. The technology allows objects to be cast as a single piece, without bonding or extensive grinding. Since 2017, SIN has collaborated with leading contemporary artists and designers, creating collectible works and large-scale installations for museums, sacred architecture, and public spaces. Since 2024, SIN has operated its own gallery in Prague.
