LUX VIVA is a new collection of artist-designed furniture, lighting objects, and sculptural glass works created as part of a collaboration between SIN Studio Gallery and Milan Knížák. Inspired by the artist’s experimental designs from the 1960s–1980s, the project reinterprets historical concepts through contemporary materials and the unique Vitrum Vivum glassmaking technology developed by Jiří Šín. The collection moves between sculpture, collectible design, architecture, and light installation, transforming Knížák’s characteristic language of geometry, fragmentation, organic forms, and disrupted symmetry into three-dimensional glass. Light becomes an artistic medium, creating a dialog between drawing and object, past and present, concept and material.
