A special space dedicated to exhibitions and presentations from the increasingly influential field of art design opens for the first time at Designblok. On display, one will find limited objects, the concept of which, craftsmanship or character, exclude mass production, yet are able to shift our perspective of the present or endow a specific interior design with powerful energy. Art House is located in the Colloredo-Mansfeld Palace on Karlova Street thanks to the City Gallery Prague. Linked with important events in Czech history and architecture from several periods, this location will host many renowned foreign designers, such as
Matali Crasset, Hans van Bentem, Kiki van Eijk, Joost van Bleiswijk, and Vika Mitrichenko. Designblok visitors can also look forward to conceptual works by leading Czech designers – Eva Eisler, Olgoj Chorchoj, Rony Plesl, Jakub Berdych – plus the Křehký Biedermeier exhibition from the Prague-based Křehký gallery. For the complete list of exhibitors, enter Art House in the section entitled Exhibitors. Apart from designers and artists, you will also find gallerists and collectors from all over the world.
