OREA Hotels & Resorts
OREA HOTELS & RESORTS is the largest Czech hotel chain. It currently consists of 16 hotels throughout the Czech Republic. The chain includes mountain summer resorts, spa locations as well as congress hotels.
Its flagships are famous buildings of the past, such as the brutalist Resort Horal in Špindlerův Mlýn and the iconic Hotel Pyramida in Prague’s Břevnov quarter. OREA has been changing them radically, with the help of Czech architects, creating a contrast between brutalism and modern interior concepts. The Horal Resort has been redesigned by Bára Škorpilová’s renowned Mimolimit Studio while the Congress Hotel Brno (formerly known as the Voroněž) has been refashioned by ZOAA Architecture Studio.
