Designblok takes place in the most prestigious design stores and galleries all across Prague every year. But the key events are concentrated at three special exhibition venues: the Superstudio, the Openstudio and the Art House. Each of this venue is specific for its character as well as exhibitors type. The industrial palace in Výstaviště Praha Holešovice will turned into an extraordinairy parade of well-known Czech and International brands and designers in dates of 27. – 31. October 2016.

The Designblok Openstudio is a space devoted to presentations and exhibition concepts by designers, design studios and brands, making up the entire spectrum of contemporary design (product design, fashion design, jewellery design and graphic design).
More than a hundred designers, schools, design studios from many European countries and prestigious media take part every year and there are presented primarily prototypes and products without any commercial manufacturer.
The Openstudio also displays exhibitions by design school studios and the International Designblok Diploma Selection exhibition. The Diploma Selection serves as a platform for presenting the best graduation (diploma) work in fashion and product design from the most prestigious universities and school studios around Europe.

Superstudio is the main exhibition space where the visitors find the newest designs in furniture, accessories and lighting of various prestigious brands. You can find there both local and global design trends. This venue will inspire you thanks to new collections that were established in cooperation with regarded designers. Exhibition presents work of respected companies as well as the beginning ones.

Located in the Central Hall, Designérie is a land of play and experiences, land without rules. Designérie offers visitors interactive installations that can one can observe or explore, play, try and engage their imagination. Giant Sunflower by Maxim Velčovský, children's zone created by Anna and Jerry gantry, look out tower by H3T, installation by Hippos Design, ping pong tables and many more. Come see, come play!
In the space Designérie one will also find the Garden Stage, which offers live programme every day .
Lapidary, Výstaviště Praha Holešovice
Art House is annually the place that should not miss any art collector as it grant extraordinary experiences. Art house serves project in border of art and design. This year, it will introduce the installation of top Czech designers and international guests.

The 20th Anniversary Designblok exhibition is a tribute to beauty and to the world of objects. Designed designers with great charge of their own original philosophy of creation that you could see on Designblok over the past twenty years, they represent their creative approach.

Galleries, pop-up shops and showrooms in Prague
While Designblok is Prague city center filled up with special exhibitions in several galleries, pop-up shops and showrooms. Product and fashion designers reveal their recent work in their regular place with varied accompanying program. Art schools take part as well and show the student works in their venue. Prague streets alives with outdoor instalation. Exterior objects will be located around the historical part of Prague.
