The special children’s pavilion, Designblok for Kids, will feature interactive installations, the play element MRAK by Maxim Velčovský, and presentations by brands that will captivate both you and your children. Among the exhibitors are Nadace Terezy Maxové dětem, the magazine RAKETA, Geometrikon, OPAK, Poketo, Když Kristián usne, Nakladatelství Pikola, Barbora Sika & Handle with Care, Merkur Toys in collaboration with FUD UJEP, and Sto·re – Circular Spot.
We see children as full-fledged visitors of Designblok. We want them to take away not only new visual and intellectual stimuli, but also the joy of play and space to develop their own imagination. That’s why we created the Designblok for Kids pavilion, whose central installation is MRAK (Place of Joy and Culture) by designer Maxim Velčovský.
"MRAK is a symbol of imagination. The jumping MRAK expresses freedom and dreams, inviting children to relax and enjoy the shared joy of movement. While parents refresh themselves and observe the landscape of Czech design, their children jump on the clouds," says Maxim Velčovský about his installation.
Come and explore other interactive installations and a wide variety of brands. Fun for the whole family is guaranteed!
Color the World with RAKETA
The playful installation by RAKETA magazine invites children on a drawing journey to Japan. Comic characters Jója & Meli and their magical Teleskříň open the gate to a world where little visitors can color, explore, and play. The exhibition was created by Monika Baudišová and Jordi Trilla under the brand pinkpill design.
Bet on the Pumptrack
As part of the reLosy platform, Sazka presents a unique BMX pumptrack, made from two tons of old lottery tickets. Here, sport, recycling, and creativity combine to create a one-of-a-kind experience that pushes the boundaries of sustainable design. This modular BMX pumptrack, the first of its kind in the world, can be found outdoors at the Křižík Pavilion area.
