Český design zabodoval v Miláně. Ro Plastic Prize 2022 získal projekt Balance is Motion

Ikonická galeristka Rossana Orlandi pořádá 4. rokem mezinárodní soutěž pro design, který dává druhou šanci plastovému odpadu. RoGUILTLESSPLASTIC každý rok během milánského design weeku volí vítěze Ro Plastic Prize. Letos se jím stal český projekt Balance is Motion! Mezinárodní porotu zaujal jejich mobiliář s názvem FOAMY vytvořený z odpadních materiálů ve spolupráci s firmou YATE Sport. Za Balance is Motion stojí trojice ve složení Eliška Knotková, Maria Nina Václavková a Filip Mirbauer.

Jádrem jejich práce je analýza metodou Life Cycle Assessment s jejíž pomocí Balance is Motion zhodnotí dopady životního cyklu produktu na životní prostředí. Pro Balance is Motion nejde o první ocenění. Před pár měsíci projekt zvítězil v prvním ročníku Ceny Veolia za udržitelný design na Designbloku 2022.
