Dílna – místo, kde si tvořivě oddychneteThe Designblok relaxation zone by designer Veronika Jiroušková and architect Lenka Míková looked like a childhood dream come true. Wishes like, “if only I could nail two boards together and create my own house”, “if only I could help a tree to grow more beautiful leaves” and “if only I could break something” were all fulfilled. The noise made by hammers and saws filled the Superstudio Hra from dusk to dawn, except when visitors ran out of wood of course! The amazing concept was remarkable for its many elaborate details and form. Its floor served as the dominating element – its geometry mirroring the shape of the original lino floors, its colors entrancing visitors into a fairytale of their own. The layout of tools, the set of warnings and the quotations all combined to produce a stunning exhibition. It is a pity that Designblok is over.
