Ineke Hans for exhibition Manifesto
The leading Netherlandish designer, Ineke Hans, was initially to become a sculptor – until she realized she was more attracted to 3D objects that people can actually use; i.e. as interactions between people and things. “I perceive design as developing amusing puzzles where you must fuse an array of aspects: the transformations present in our society, the production methods, the poetry, the quality of materials, the methods and innovative technologies,
as well as the new prices, new psychology and the unknown. I really love when all of this clicks together.”
Ineke’s Manifest exhibitioned globally premieres a new item designed for the Czech brand, Křehký, with which she had also collaborated in the past.
Loves jazz, Dutch writers and the film Interstellar.
