For several years, one of the highlights of Designblok has always been artist Jiří Příhoda and his objects that straddle the line between art and architecture. We always look forward to them. Not bound by a strict approach, these versatile little wonders allow us to imagine taking a trip into space. The same can be said about the Troja Palace, where Příhoda’s meditation cells and lookouts stand beside baroque architecture and decorations. This exhibition is an absolute must-see. Some objects are displayed out of context, so you may not even recognize them, while others, including smaller objects, will also premiere at the exhibition. In the photos, you can see Příhoda’s previous exhibits at Designblok. Photos from the exhibition will also be shared on Facebook, but we recommend seeing Jiří Příhoda’s work in person, we know this from experience. The exhibition runs until the end of October 2016.
