Marlène Huissoud and an her exhibition Reflections of clay models
A French designer, which initially trained for a nurse
but eventually graduated from the prestigious Central Saint Martin’s School of Art and Design in London.
The victory in the Desigblok Diploma Selection four years ago completely changed her life. She began to exhibit abroad, being represented by an array of prestigious gallery owners in their spaces. Design to her is mainly
a way of communication and presenting visions.
“I strongly believe that design indeed can solve political, environmental and social issues. This is why my work is always committed.”
Huissoud has prepared an exhibition of clay models,
made to express her relation to design and simultaneously celebrate the five years of the Marlène Huissoud studio’s existence. “I devoted some time to self-reflection and closely inspected the way how I work.”
