The theme of the nineteenth year is FOOD as a nurishment for both body and soul, as a source of pleasure and symbol of time spent with family. The visuals capture the spectacular cake battle, the dream of each of us since the film grotesque, attended by young designers Jana Voňková, Zuzana Viszusová, Adam Kost, Dominika Petrtylová, Daniela Chodilová, Cuba Křelina, and Monika Martykánová.
"The visuals of this year's edition capture the moments of the great cake battle of young designers that you will find at Erste Talent Display this year, the visual link being the theme of the Year's Food, and the long-term support of young designers, one of Designblok's main goals. The cake battle is spontaneous, a symbol of sheer emotion, joy as well as struggle, which is ultimately also part of every Designblok.When you take a number of designers and companies every year to attract the attention of visitors and imagine their spent energy, the dynamics must be felt in the universe. Designblok is an unsearchable geyser of extraordinary ideas, determination and beliefs in the future, and we wanted all this to be known from the visual to reflect our own enthusiasm and Of joy. So we fulfilled the dream together, throwing a cake instead of a glove, "explains Jiří Macek, design director of Designblok.
